Jan 4 2008, 10:27 AM EST Job Search Assistance for mature workers is available in Newport News and Hampton. The AARP Foundation/WorkSearch office at 11834 Canon Blvd. Suite H in Newport News is open to better serve the older workers of the Peninsula. Our employment services include job referrals, paid training time and/or paid on the job training time for income eligible individuals, resume writing/critiwuing, and use of phones ,copy machine, email, and fax machine for job search activities. Eligible individuals are assigned for on the job training to local non profit and public agencies like the Newport News Senior Centers, Hampton Library, schools, Parks and Recreation, Riverside Rehab, etc. If you are 50 and over and in need of job search assistance, call us at 757-595-8726 or come into the office at 11834 Canon Blvd. Ste.
