Mar 18 2008, 9:55 AM EDT I sometimes hear people talk about why Obama has not addressed the race issue. I feel it is only because he is not running his campaign based on race. He is running his campaign based on his beliefs that we need a change for ALL Americans not just the African Americans, Not just the Caucasians, Not just the Asians, Not just the Indians, Not just the disenfranchised, Not just the poor, Not just the Rich, but ALL people from all walks of life. His is not a Black or White issue. It's a PEOPLE issue. He stands for a lot of what we as Americans should be standing up for and that is truth, justice, equality and affordable health care for all. We need a change and Obama exhibits that change. He carries himself very well. He walks and talks like a president of the United States should walk and talk. He sees no color and it's about time! Wake up people, ALL PEOPLE! This is a new day dawning and I am very proud to be witnessing history in the making because this has never happened before in these United States of America and that is to witness an African American man and a Woman running for the nomination of President of the United States. Yes, I will vote for Obama not only because he is African American, but I will cast my vote because he stands for everything I want to see in a Presidential candidate also, so therefore...I am FIRED UP.....READY TO GO!!
